Manager of Corporate Planning and Forecasting

The Manager of Corporate Planning and Forecasting is responsible for delivery of the annual budget for all global entities to the executive team, monthly variance analysis of actual results to the budget, and the reforecast of annual results.

 

The leader of this department will administrate and review the global budgeting process for domestic and international market results. Working closely with sales and marketing, production planning, and operational team members, the director/manager is a leader within the finance team.  

 

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

 

·                       On-time, accurate complete budget submissions;

·                       Daily on-demand reporting and visibility to all budget components.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 

·         Annual budget preparation and review for a global direct marketing company.

·         Reforecast of projected results periodically during the year. Maintain detailed rolling financial statements.

·         Assist in development, alignment and communication of strategic objectives to help drive accountability and performance tracking for the entire company

·     Champion analysis to drive growth/spend control initiatives

·     Track program drivers to inform finance and executive team of opportunities to improve company profitability

·     Establish strong partnership with business units

·     Create materials detailing overall SGA spend; identifying trends, opportunities and upcoming events and risks.  

·     Manage multiple data sources and maintain integrity of plan data in BPC

·     Understand the monthly accounting process, methodology and financial reporting process.

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance

·         MBA or CPA a plus, but not required

 

EXPERIENCE

 

·         Minimum of five years’ experience in financial planning and analysis.

·     International financial analysis experience with foreign currencies

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

 

·         Proficient in BPC/Hyperion Planning application and proven track record of successful administration of tool. 

·         Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

·         Willingness to take on related additional tasks and expand on current responsibilities with minimal direction

·         Ability to successfully manage ambiguity and deliver on assignments with minimal supervision

·         Cross-functional, multi-level collaboration skills
