Description

The Manager of Infrastructure Access Management Engineering is responsible for developing and maintaining identity access products and infrastructure which manage access to operating systems (hosts), networks and databases. This position will lead a team of Systems Engineers in selecting, developing, and ensuring a highly available architecture for Kaiser's host and network Identity and Access systems. Key activities will include engineering team management and personnel development, project estimation and delivery for large scale IT deployments, vendor relationship management and implementing engineering best practices across the various product lines.

This position reports to the Director of Identity and Access Management Solution Delivery

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of technical resources who need to develop and implement technical solutions, including multi-site enterprise application infrastructure
- Mentor project managers and solution designers; provide technical and career guidance
- Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Actively work with related intake, quality, release, and operations functions to ensure high quality end to end solution delivery
- Establish engineering objectives and assignments and delegates to team leads and technical/professional employees.
- Implement engineering best practices to ensure highly available systems.
- Regularly interacts with subordinates, and functional peer groups at management, senior management levels, and at executive levels, as appropriate.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience in following areas: planning, budget/financial management and staffing.
- A minimum of 5 years of related IT experience including IT Project Management, systems programmer or systems engineer.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing large scale IT applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead project and process-improvement work both tactically and strategically involving cross-organizational partners
- Demonstrated success in maintaining strong customer focus, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
- Proven leadership in matrix management environment that includes influencing, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and openness with a focus on results orientation

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Identity and Access Management, ideally host and network access management practices and products including Microsoft Active Directory, Unix Access Management products (Quest Authentication Services, Beyond Trust PowerBroker), RADIUS, TACACS+, RSA Access Control systems, Cisco Access Control systems, network device access management, and general LDAP directory services. Knowledge of broader Identity Management products for provisioning, SSO, federation, etc. is a plus.
- Experience in financial modeling and use of financial systems (purchasing, budgets, forecasts, reporting) to develop business plans and assess departmental and project operations
- MS and/or MBA degree preferred
