Position Description:

The Manager of Online Acquisition is responsible for the strategy and execution of several key online marketing channels to drive profitable customer acquisition and revenue growth.   This position is based in San Mateo, CA, and there will be occasional travel to NetSpend’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Source and manage media buying relationships with affiliate partners, lead gen companies, and publishers.

·         Lead pricing negotiations and execute media buying contracts.

·         Execute acquisition campaigns including onboarding, testing, tracking, and partner reporting.

·         Manage day-to-day paid search agency and related search marketing campaigns.

·         Identify new market testing opportunities spanning the online spectrum.       

·         Manage creative and messaging testing across all funnel touch-points: email, display, paid search, landing pages.

·         Manage and report on day-to-day acquisition budget and spend.

·         Collect and analyze campaign data to continually optimize acquisition programs.

·         Work cross functionally with analytics, creative and development teams to maximize potential of the channels.

 

Skills/Education/Experience:

·         5+ years experience managing online acquisition programs in consumer focused businesses.

·         Experience managing customer acquisition for a consumer service or subscription service is a plus.

·         Performance marketing oriented with proven results in driving new account/customer growth.

·         Experience with various online verticals including SEM, SEO, Affiliate, Display, Email and Social Media.

·         Strong knowledge and experience managing CPM, CPC, CPL and CPA based programs.

·         Significant online acquisition industry relationships including affiliates, CPA networks, large publishers.

·         Data-driven and comfortable working in data intensive environment.

·         Knowledge of relevant online analytics tools and online marketing service providers/solutions.

·         Detail focused with proven ability to execute and implement acquisition programs.
