Description

We are currently looking for a Manager Sales Operations –  in Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:  

·         Monitor Enhance Sales Process Effectiveness – incumbent will be required to understand and diagnose areas for improvements in our client company's sales support processes and implement enhancements in close partnership with Asia/Pacific (APAC) senior leadership.

·         Provide CRM Leadership for APAC – incumbent will act as regional lead for utilization of sales force automation, lead management, and other technologies, including working with local team leads and individual users on best practices, training, system enhancements, and the like; the incumbent is expected to leverage Salesforce.com and similar systems to implement new performance metrics and easy-to-understand management dashboards, determine proper measures to track productivity gains, and develop other tracking tools and metrics as needed.

·         Evangelize “Value Selling” – team with the VP SSO, APAC Sales VPs and Customer Marketing to develop, deploy and track use of standardized selling tools that improve the effectiveness of the sales team and drive revenue. Incumbent will be an asset in driving awareness and adoption of Value Selling Tools and Customer Value Creation offerings across the regions and business units within the Sales Organization.

·         Formulate Monitor Divisional Initiatives – upon request, incumbent may help APAC Sales VPs formulate divisional initiatives during the twice yearly planning process and implement effective and simple tracking and communication methods to ensure all divisional initiatives are on-track and produce the desired results.  He/she will be expected to identify issues and recommend corrective measures when appropriate.

·         Support Standing Processes – incumbent will partner closely with SSO and APAC Sales leadership to support standing meeting logistics, periodic sales reporting and other processes.

·         Support Development of Key Presentations Reports – incumbent must work with regional sales leadership and leverage sales force automation software to prepare concise, consistent, and impactful reports and presentations that can be used both internally and externally with customers and at industry events when required.

·         Coordinate Information Requests Special Projects – incumbent will lead administrative projects and coordinate responses to requests for information as requested by the VP SSO and VP APAC Sales; incumbent will also support special projects on behalf of the VP SSO as needed.

Qualifications 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

·         7+ years experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Software Development, Product Management, Strategy or IT-Business Systems

·         Strong analytical and communication skills

·         Self-directed, organized and results focused

·         Expertise in MS PowerPoint and proficiency with MS Excel required

·         Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., salesforce.com, Oracle/Siebel) a plus

·         Experience working in Asia Pacific region or supporting APAC is preferred
