We have an exciting opportunity for a unique individual to join the Governance team and be responsible for oversight and assurance of risk identification and management within across all Risk functions. This role will work with the wider Risk team to embed a risk perspective and discipline in key business initiatives and ensuring ongoing management and assessment of compliance and operational risk for these units.
Primary responsibilities of this role will include:
- Co-ordinating the implementation of compliance and operating risk frameworks across all Risk functions and providing assurance to the Chief Risk Officer on the effectiveness of the risk management environment in the Risk functions
- Co-ordinating business continuity planning across all Risk functions
- Providing advice and guidance across Risk functions around audit issues, regulator findings and risks within our compliance and operating risk frameworks
- Timely and accurate Risk reporting to all stakeholders
- Ability to build strong, open collaborative working relationships
- High level of problem solving and ability to provide solutions as needed.
You will have a strong customer service ethic balanced with strong commercial acumen. A big picture thinker, you'll have the ability to turn strategies into actionable initiatives. You'll be passionate about what you do and have a can do, self starting attitude.
To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years Risk experience in a large organisation and a proven track record of managing priorities and conflicting issues to a desirable outcome. A tertiary qualification in a related discipline is a must.
