Manager, Operational Risk recruitment

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and monitor risk management policies and frameworks with focus on operational and insurance risk management.

• Produce insurance risk reports and capture key risk indicators (KRI) to monitor emerging insurance risks including increased lapse ratios, claims ratios, expenses, etc.

• Monitor the insurance KRIs for emerging insurance risk trends in the local entities and provide a consolidated summary at Group level.

• Assist in the preparation of insurance risk reports/dashboards and presentation materials for the relevant Group risk committee meetings.

• Review and assess key risks relating to new products and provide advice on risk mitigation strategies.

• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a relevant area (e.g. risk management, actuarial sciences). 

• Minimum 5 years experience, with solid experience in the life insurance industry and risk management field.

• In-depth knowledge of insurance risks covering product design, underwriting, reinsurance, expense control and lapse/claims experience reviews

• Proven ability in successfully developing and implementing risk policies and frameworks

• Highly organized self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English with a strong ability to create and deliver professional reports and presentations.
