Manager, Planning and Analysis Modelling

A leading Banking Group is currently recruiting for a Business, Planning Analysis Manager to join the Group Finance team. This role sits in a divisional planning and forecasting team with the responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Divisions 5 year plan and quarterly current year forecasts to Group Finance, supported by insightful analysis.

The successful candidate will drive various stress test planning processes through modelling and analysis and will present key insights to stakeholders. This individual will prepare financial and strategic analysis material for Exec Committees and Board level presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

Design, develop and maintain Excel data models for base case and stress test scenarios
Provide insightful information and analysis to support Senior Management decision making
Continuously identify improvements to enhance processes and timeliness of delivery
Build and maintain a strong cross functional internal network to optimise business results

The idea candidate will be a qualified accountant with planning and decision support experience. The successful candidate will have good Excel and Modelling skills; experience with Hyperion and Essbase systems is desirable. Strong presentation skills and PowerPoint experience is essential and an experience in a Wholesale/Investment Banking environment will be of significant advantage.
