GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Acts as a liaison between Finance, IT and Sales Marketing departments. Analyzes and extracts data and provides reports relevant to departmental objectives. Develops, interprets and presents data making revisions as needed. Collaborates with representatives of corresponding departments to deliver results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work on multiple brands, reporting to the Vice President of Finance, Brands division
- Responsible for brand PL’s, product PL’s, forecasting, and analysis
- Manage monthly close process for the Brands division
- Responsible for assisting marketing and finance management in analyzing and providing viewpoints on roll out of key marketing initiatives
- Provide brand management and the sales team with timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
- Advise on risks and opportunities for the assigned brands, markets, and regions
- Assist the Vice President, Brands in preparation of the monthly reporting package and the annual sales, SGA, and trade budgeting process for the Brands division
- Expected travel approximately 1 week per month
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proven record of ability to analyze and conceptually understand business and customer objectives as well as associated data needs
- Ability to think and work independently, strategically and tactically
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Communicates clearly and concisely both written and verbally
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS degree in business or accounting
- Three to five years of direct related experience
