Job Description AECOM is seeking staff to support its growing Transportation Planning practice within the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. This position requires candidates with: (1) Masters or Bachelors degree in Transportation Planning or Urban Planning; (2) Current AICP or Professional Engineer registration; (3) at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience with Federal environmental compliance and/or experience in transportation performance measures for state and local agencies; (4) excellent problem-solving skills; (5) solid foundation in transportation planning principles and practices; and (6) excellent oral/written communications skills. The successful candidate shall: (1) have a demonstrated a record of successful scope, budget, and schedule adherence; (2) possess significant technical experience within the transportation planning market; and (3) have well-developed analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Primary responsibilities of this position include: (1) managing transportation projects; (2) establishing and maintaining effective client relationships; (3) new business development; (4) supervising and mentoring younger staff; and (5) working with other staff.
