Project Management, Process and System flows, bull; Excellent presentation, verbal, written communications skills. bull; Analysis and statistics experience. bull; Clear understanding and use of price elasticity within a business environment. bull; Experience utilizing DemandTec software to price in a cross channel retail environment of Retail, Web, Catalog, and Contract Job Responsibilities The Pricing Program Manager will work within the Merchandise Planning and Strategy team and report to the Director of Strategic Pricing. This position is responsible for developing pricing strategies, guidelines, and recommendations with the goal of maximizing sales and margin while maintaining positive customer price perception. The Pricing Program Manager will perform quantitative analysis for all channels within Office Depot but focused on specific categories, using key intelligence inputs, including Consumer Insights, Market Intelligence (competitive tracking) and Price Optimization tools (DemandTec). The position requires a blend of strategic marketing, cross- functional management and financial analytical skills/experience to define pricing strategies, structure, and policies across the organization. This position will also be responsible for executing the strategy and current competitive positioning as aligned by the senior leadership of the company. The Manager of Pricing will need to be able to establish a strong relationships with both senior leadership and merchant partners that fosters open discussion.
