Basic Job Functions:
The Manager, Pre-Sales Process Solutions Development will manage and facilitate the architecture, design and delivery of innovative end –to-end solutions to enable First Solar Channel Partners in the identification, layout, design, estimation, permitting and financing of First Solar rooftop solutions. These processes will integrate with First Solar’s order to cash and CRM systems. This role will drive complex cross functional programs and translate business vision and requirements into technology based solutions with maximum ROI and supportability. Individual will work closely with department and or division leadership to establish requirements and manage expectations of solution(s). The successful individual will need to coach and mentor team members to expand their skill base.

Experience:
• OTC and CRM interface
• 5 - 10 years of experience in automating engineering and financial processes.
• 5 – 10 years of experience in Management/Program Management
• Experience integrating and converting systems to an enterprise standard.
• Experience architecting process that integrate with, image systems, document management systems, CAD systems, financial calculators and SaaS/Cloud and associated technologies / paradigms.
• 5 – 10 years of experience using MS Project or equivalent project management tools
• PMP certification preferred
• 3 years TOC Program Management experience, preferred
• Experience organizing and collaborating with various resources (both internal and external) to drive resolution of issues, complete small-to-large sized tasks/projects and formation of short/long term technology strategies and/or new service offerings.

Education:
• BS degree in an Engineering Discipline, required
• MS Degree in Engineering Discipline, preferred
• PMP Certification a plus.

o Opportunity identification and pre-qualification tools
o Product catalog
o Credit checking
o Financing Calculator
o Proposal Engine / Estimators

• Translate business vision and requirements into technological solutions with maximum ROI and supportability.
• Foster and maintain good business relationships with executives, management and inter/intra departmental teams.
• Interface with department leadership to establish requirements and manage expectations of proposed solution(s).
• Build business case justifications for executive approval.
• Provide technical leadership and consulting to management, team and customers.
• Interface with multiple teams in challenging, collaborative, results driven work environment.
• Be able to identify and hire A-Players.
• Coach and mentor junior staff.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
• Performs other assignments as required.
• Approximately 25% travel may be required.
