Manager, Pricing & Valuations of OTC Derivatives, Sell Side, HK
This position sits with a major global Investment Bank, situated in the exciting and dynamic city of Hong Kong. You'll be responsible for leading the day to day support to their Fund Services on pricing OTC derivatives as well as pioneering and driving the regional efforts to implementing Global Pricing Policies.
There is an element of client facing and client advisory around delivering OTC Pricing services to them and ensuring that pricing policies are implemented consistently at a regional level.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Degree holder in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or related disciplines with in-depth knowledge on derivative products valuation models, and broad understanding on the global capital markets across all asset classes
- Solid experience in financial institutions with hands-on operations on derivatives valuation/product control/middle-office business (e.g. collateral management).
- Solid knowledge on local regulations, accounting rules, industrial standards in relation to the pricing of securities in fund industry and/or for the middle office operations, and demonstrated ability to apply these in conjunction with internal policy to give advice to local and global pricing risk control committees
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Hands-on skills in using Bloomberg system and APIs, Reuters 3000xtra, Calypso, Excel VBA Database
- Experience on project management is preferred.
