Manager, Product Development and Marketing recruitment
Our client, a global financial services organization located East of Toronto, is actively recruiting for the role of a Manager, Product Development and Marketing.
In this critical newly created role, the Manager, Product Development and Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will handle a variety of product management/marketing functions while ensuring achievement of yearly revenue and sales targets. This can be done either by new product development or via marketing existing products. Additional accountabilities will include:
- Managing vendor relationships, representing product marketing across the organization, keeping abreast of industry and competitive activities as well as financial services trends;
- Developing and implementing e-commerce initiatives;
- Managing the product development team, and spearheading customer retention and loyalty initiatives.
Qualifications:
As a strong candidate for this diverse and high profile opportunity, the Manager, Product Development and Marketing will bring solid demonstrated experience in Financial Services Product Development, some of which should be in a leadership capacity. Product and/or project management experience leading cross functional teams in delivery of major new products or systems combined with proven skills in marketing/customer loyalty as well as data research/analysis.
Candidates will be supported ideally with a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Economics, Marketing, and Business (or related) in addition to a proven ability to thrive within a complex dynamic environment while managing multiple/shifting priorities and aggressive targets. Superior quantitative (mathematics, data analytics, stats and qualitative/relationship management skills) coupled with a proven ability to be a top performer and achieve top-notch results, make this a WIN/WIN!
