The Toowoomba Regional Council, the dynamic hub of the Darling Downs, has total assets in excess of $3 billion, an annual budget of over $600M and a combined staff of over 1,700. The organisation's functional structure includes the Infrastructure Services Group which has approximately 700 staff and is responsible for managing 10,000 kilometre road network, significant drainage networks and other transport related infrastructure.

You will lead a professional team in the delivery of Council's outsourced capital works projects. You will manage and administer large value engineering (including Council's $100M plus NDRRA Flood Restoration Program) and community infrastructure projects with direct oversight for program and project management, contractor specifications, tendering, contract management and performance and dispute minimisation.

A qualified project manager with an engineering background, your technical skills are balanced by high level commercial and project management capability and supported by exceptional people and resource management skills. A background within either the public sector or private sector contracting/project environments is sought.Like to know more?
