An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager within an established Real Estate Advisory team in Brisbane. This role will have diverse requirements including responsibility for support in property development, real estate valuations, financial modelling and general client advisory services to high net worth individual private clients, institutional funds (on and off shore) and various Government departments (locally, State and Federal).

The key priorities of the role will be to assist the leadership team to deliver timely, valuable and accurate support for real estate engagements which will encompass a wide range of activities including acquisition, property development and disposal advise for major projects, bench marking activities for large real estate clients, market sounding exercises, real estate fund establishment and due diligence reports. Ideally the successful candidate will currently be registered as a Real Estate Valuer in Queensland with existing knowledge of the various Queensland real estate markets and sectors.

Key Accountabilities and Performance Indicators:

· Provide timely and accurate financial, operational, and analytical support as well as efficient property development advice as required.

· Aid in the preparation of business proposals, development of financial models, preparation of key presentations, analysis of data and research in a wide variety of markets in Australia.

· Contribute to idea generation and identification of new client opportunities in the market.

· Delivery of high quality, accurate, organised and logical research, models, budgets, reports and real estate valuations.

· Professional, timely, and accurate management of valuation work.

· Contribution as a team member of the Real Estate Advisory business - develop positive working relationships with internal Partners and external client teams.

Skills and Knowledge:

· Undergraduate degree required, with an emphasis on real estate valuation, finance, economics or similar discipline preferred.

· 3 - 7 years experience in the real estate industry, management, consulting, real estate funds management, real estate valuation or a direct property group.

· Previous exposure to the real estate industry preferred - a passion for real estate is required.

· A proven track record in strategy development; financial modelling and interfacing with diverse management teams.

· Previous exposure to due diligence work in real estate transactions is preferred but not a prerequisite.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with significant expertise in preparing Information Memorandum documents to a high standard.

· Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight time deadlines.

· Excellent research skills and ability to organise and present information clearly.

· Strong commercial acumen coupled with excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work well within a team environment.

· Must have strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Argus, Estate Master, PowerPoint and able to quickly become proficient in other software packages as and when required.
