Manager, Public Affairs
Responsibility for developing and managing a range of media relations campaigns to support the Consumer Card business in the UK. This will involve working across product, partnership, sponsorship and social media initiatives including helping TO manage the company's UK Facebook page. Working closely with the PR Director for the UK, the individual will also support American Express' local philanthropic programme and help to build the company's external profile in the Sussex region where American Express has its European Service Centre.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong project management skills, a proven ability to deliver successful social media campaigns, have excellent written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to build positive relationships with key internal and external constituents
Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
Experience in delivering successful consumer and social media campaigns
Understanding of online communications and digital media
Excellent strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement communications plans
Ability to manage PR agencies, vendors
Strong project management skills
