Manager/Purchasing Individual will be responsible for all aspects of assigned major procurement contracts, including the RFQ/RFP processes, awarding, negotiating and managing new and existing contracts; participate in cross functional teams for product standardization, business process re-engineering, problem resolution; and procurement related issues; management and operational control of assigned purchasing functions; and will assume the role of the director in his/her absence. Bachelor's degree in business related field; five to six years higher education purchasing experience; working knowledge of State of Utah Procurement Code; two years experience in Contract Management; extensive experience in drafting and evaluation of both RFP's (request for proposals) and RFQ's (request for quotes) required.
