Description The Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial clients within a specified geographic territory. He/she is responsible for explaining product offerings and requirements to client to close the deal. The Relationship Manager(RM) will work with Credit Administration to expedite the closing of loans. RM needs to produce loan and deposit volume to meet or exceed the bank s thresholds. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Attaining personal annual commercial lending thresholds Support unit's growth and profitability through calling on existing and potential clients. Identifies business needs and corresponding sales opportunities bankwide. Works closely with Wealth Management, Treasury, Cash Management and other major area of the bank to promote sales and implementation of complete suite of financial products and services. Acts as liaison between clients and other departments. Maintains thresholds around retention and growth of portfolio. Facilitates approval decision on loans and terms within lending limits. Makes recommendations to appropriate lending authority. Negotiates terms and condition of loans with clients. Attend commercial lending department sales meetings as required. Responsible for collection of past due loans in their portfolio. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
