Manager, Relationship Management recruitment
Leading Asset Management firm is looking for an experienced Manager to be part of their Account Management team. The role of the Account Management Group is to act as the liaison between Prudential Fixed Income (PFI) and our asset management clients. As a Manager within the Account Management Group, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of service to our clients in order to ensure a first-class client servicing process. This requires expertise in the different product types and securities within the fixed income markets. The position frequently interacts with various levels and groups across the organization. You will interact closely with the Relationship Managers and Portfolio Management to ensure that client communication and reporting is effective.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Primary client contact for small- to mid-size clients.
- Responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships.
- Point of contact for all issues relating to clients; responsible for coordinating activities of other departments in the resolution of any client issues.
- Responsible for managing the on-boarding of new clients across the organization; working closely with clients and internal units to finalize legal documents, investment guidelines, portfolio structuring analysis, and account set-up
- Responsible for supervising a staff of 1-5 junior account management analysts.
- Manage the preparation and review of select client reports, questionnaires, and presentations
- Will act as a lead role to support various industry and regulatory initiatives
- Responsible for project managing process improvements
- The candidate will be expected to independently analyze, interpret, and respond to ad hoc client inquires while working with internal groups, as necessary, in a timely manner.
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- 7+ years experience in the financial services industry (preferably in fixed income asset management)
- Strong leadership skills
- Independent thinker who takes initiative
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of fixed income securities and financial markets
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting strict client deadlines.
Additional skills would be a plus:
- CFA designation, active status in the CFA program or MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of Blackrock Solutions Aladdin System is a plus
