Manager research and strategy analyst recruitment
The role;
- The division of responsibilities betweem team members will partly depend on the skills that the new person can bring, but it is likely to be a fairly even split between long only manager research (mainly long only, but some alternatives) and other functions such as macro and asset allocation strategy and asset / liability studies.
The person;
- you will have some manager research experience, ideally of long only fund managers, and you will have a good idea of the expectations of pension fund clients in terms of what information they require and the depth of it.
- you will need to be able to hit the ground running, therefore you must have a few years of relevant experience.
- you will have very strong academic qualifications, ideally doing or done the CFA and / or actuarial exams.
