Located in North San Diego County, Watkins Manufacturing is seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our winning team and culture! We are the leading Manufacturer of hot tubs, Hot Spring®, Caldera Spas® and recently acquired Freeflow® Spas.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the retail marketing efforts of our dealers. The Retail Marketing Manager works with dealers, and sales and marketing in developing and executing promotions, gathering and sharing marketing ideas and conducting marketing training sessions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Determine “best practices” for dealers’ retail marketing efforts and share those best practices with the sales force and other dealers.
• Develop an annual promotional calendar with retail marketing ideas.
• Identify dealer needs for ad slicks, promotional materials and work with the marketing team to develop effective items for dealers’ use.
• Assist dealers with local advertising efforts.
• Develop special retail support programs.
Qualification and Essentials:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, pool and spa experience preferred. Five years’ experience in retail marketing required. Position requires up to 50% travel. Demonstrate ability to motivate others, increase revenues. Must be computer literate and proficient using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and email applications. Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
