Manager & Senior Manager – Contentious Valuations recruitment

Our client, an international consulting firm is seeking to recruit a number of Valuations professionals into its Contentious Valuations practice. We are recruiting at Assistant Manager, Manager and Senior Manager grade.

The group has extensive experience of valuing businesses, shares, intangible assets and other income generating assets in a variety of commercial and contentious contexts. Their commercial perspective is backed up by technical rigour, and the insight and experience gained from performing numerous high profile and complex commercial and contentious assignments every year.

The Valuation group is expanding and is particularly looking to increase the number of dedicated 'contentious valuers' by recruiting individuals with experience of preparing valuations and reports for litigation and/or arbitration proceedings.

The individuals will be expected to manage, from initiation to completion, major contentious valuation assignments. This will involve working on cases from initial client meetings through to delivery of Expert Reports for the Court / Tribunal and assistance in preparing the named Expert and legal team for trial / hearing. In addition, the individual will be encouraged to take an active role in developing target client relationships in order to further develop the Contentious Valuation business and their career

The individuals will:
Be technically strong with attention to detail;
Have an ability to manage and absorb large quantities of commercial and legal information and identify key factors impacting valuation conclusions;
Have a strong reasoning and a natural inquisitiveness to think around the problem presented in a logical and commercial way;
Have excellent client facing skills with the ability to develop business; and
Have a strong academic record, ideally with a professional qualification such as ACA, MBA, or CFA.
