Macquarie Private Wealth (MPW), a division of the Banking and Financial Services Group, is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail clients in Australia and New Zealand. Services include, full-service stockbroking, on-line broking, financial planning, private banking, private portfolio management and investment planning.
MPW's Risk Management team seek an experienced Risk and Compliance professional with a proven track record in financial services to join the team.
Working within an experienced and close knit team, this position requires someone with a focus on quality assurance who can show initiative in developing and improving the way we identify and manage risks within our business.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Market surveillance
- Complaints, incident and breach management
- Regulatory reporting and issues management
- Marketing reviews and approvals
- Maintenance of compliance framework
- Assisting the business with ongoing projects
- Design and delivery of training
Demonstrated experience within a similar role within retail financial services and a solid understanding of advice and direct market access business or related is required, preferably within stockbroking or Financial Planning. You also possess:
- A thorough understanding of relevant risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks;
- Drive, self-reliance, a team orientation, as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills;
- Impeccable communication and influencing skills;
- A flexible attitude and a strong process problem solving ability.
