Manager / Senior Manager - Digital Acquisitions Job

In this exciting position on the Digital Acquisitions team within the International Consumer and Small Business Services (ICSS) Risk Management organization, the incumbent will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment interacting with and influencing senior leaders and business partners to drive underwriting strategies in the online and mobile channels. This role will focus on delivering results against three key areas, including: accelerating growth in ICSS, attracting younger customers, and increasing share of online spend and transforming our customers? digital experience. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative and impactful digital risk strategies across ICSS, to drive profitable growth in the digital space and ensure best in class digital experience for our customers and applicants. This position requires strong thought leadership with a broad spectrum of skills: ability to drive innovation, strategic planning and project management experience, an understanding of new technology, and a proven ability to build relationships and drive results. The successful candidate will need to work closely with a very diverse set of partners (internal and external) and be able to influence and manage the development of innovative strategies and capabilities across the international markets. Key Responsibilities : - Work together closely with central and market teams to enhance acquisitions in the online and mobile channels - Manage risk and profitability in New Accounts through quantitative analysis - Develop and execute underwriting strategies to drive the card business through the approval of profitable applicants - Use digital data to enhance underwriting decisions in the online space - Work with various teams to evaluate new digital data sources - Manage projects to bring new digital data into risk systems - Provide support for cross-sell campaigns in the digital channels Qualifications: - Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a matrix environment, working closely with international, Phoenix and New York based teams - Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously - Strong strategic analysis skills supported by data handling (knowledge of SAS/SQL strongly preferred) - At least two years of credit risk management or digital payment experience is required. A solid knowledge of both areas is highly preferred - Advanced degree in a quantitative or engineering field, an MBA and/or equivalent experience is preferred - Any exposure in the digital space would be a plus
