Summary:

The Social Media Community Manager is responsible for developing and enabling the success of social media activity and online community management for HARMAN brands globally. The Social Media Manager will deliver results through compelling fan engagement within social listening platforms and across key online communities, management of social networks, and creation of social programs that maximize the reach of the HARMAN brands to passionate audio and music fans everywhere. You will be the voice for multiple brands within HARMAN, in both external social media channels and the internal social media community. This subject matter expert will work closely with marketing and external agencies on strategy, analytics and execution for all social initiatives, ensuring campaigns are on strategy, on budget, and effectively executed. The Social Media Community Manager communicates cross-functionally to coordinate the many processes necessary to develop, implement, execute and manage an effective social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will conduct day-to-day management of Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Twitter, and online review channels to grow, engage, and support the consumer to deliver a positive brand experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Actively interface with social sphere to serve as the liaison between the social media world and digital marketing / eCommerce team, marketing department, and external agencies; playing an active role in briefings, reviews, project and campaign executions.

• Advance the HARMAN's strategic point of view on social media technologies and techniques, the impact on consumer behaviors, and serve as a the subject matter expert and champion for online communities within the organization.

• Deep understanding of business, marketing, and campaign objectives with a strong ability to translate those into meaningful and positive social experiences across Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and other platforms that result in increase traffic, sale conversion, and consumer awareness.

• Execute all aspects of community management for JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG, Infinity, and other HARMAN brands including content planning, crafting consumer response, content execution, and reporting.

• Proactively monitor social media for consumer issues, support questions and needs, and develop process and systems to quickly and effectively address them.

• Identify social measurement key performance initiatives (KPIs); track and analyze the chatter, engagement, tonality, and measure against both business and brand objectives on a monthly basis.

• Measure and analyze current social initiatives and discover ways to grow, optimize, and continue momentum while partnering with marketing and external agencies as necessary.

• Keep current with industry trends and perform frequent SWOT analyses to identify opportunities within the marketplace.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 - 4 years of execution of a social media strategy and community experience involving multi-national and/or global consumer facing brands. Experience within an eCommerce business, or digital media agency experience a plus.
• Strong experience using social listening tools, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Analytics. Bazaarvoice a plus.
• Experience creating, managing, and implementing social media processes and reporting into daily operations for multiple brands across multiple departments and regions.
• Proven ability to develop content calendars, requirements, and copy for social media postings and digital marketing campaigns.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and on time delivery.
• Passion for music, audio, interactivity, and all things digital.
• Bachelor's Degree is required, BS or BA.
• Samples of work submitted: including content calendars, social media postings, facebook campaigns and pages managed, social media reporting.
