OVERALL SHORT DESCRIPTION Under general direction, manage source code reviewers, and conduct review of programing logic, or source code, to ensure compliance with designated specifications. Develop programming language to automate review of data provided by Medicaid health plans, Commercial health plans, provider organizations (POs), and Medicare Advantage plans. Define and/or develop performance measure specifications for state-defined measures. Responsibilities include assisting lead auditors with pre-onsite, onsite and post-onsite activities as directed. Assists with report writing and report validation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Manage source code reviewers, ensuring performance measures are reviewed appropriately and accurately according to the specifications. 2. Review specifications and detailed source code for each measure's denominator and numerator, as well as accompanying information. 3. Review documents submitted to identify particular procedural weaknesses that may have an impact on the accurate calculation of performance measures. 4. Conduct a detailed review of each line of programing logic, or source code ensuring: ?¦ Assured strict compliance with measure specifications and accuracy of programming logic. ?¦ Provided feedback verbally and in writing regarding any deviation from specifications. ?¦ Identified and estimated the potential for bias introduced to the measure calculation by each deviation, as well as the magnitude of error. ?¦ Identified issues requiring corrections to code or further investigation.
