Serve makes paying and being paid simple. Serve's Risk and Information Management team is responsible for driving profitable growth and improving customer experience. The team works closely with other functional teams, building best-in-class risk strategies, decision science, capabilities and processes to manage and monitor risk prudently and profitably in this digital payment space. The Risk Management team is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Merchant Risk Management reporting to the Director, Serve Merchant Risk Management. This role is for an experienced risk professional with proven track record in managing micro / small sized merchants risk in the space of digital payments. This person will support the risk management of Serve micro-/ small merchants across the merchant underwriting/onboarding and account monitoring. As part of this role, the person will have following key responsibilities - Key Responsibilities 1) Data, Rules Algorithm development: Develop rules, algorithms and models leveraging public, merchant and partner data to manage and monitor fraud, credit and disputes risk in the small / micro merchant portfolio 2) Innovation in Digital data / technology Identification: Identify and capture innovative and traditional digital data sources and digital technologies to better manage risk while enabling business growth and balancing user experience on the small / micro merchant portfolio 3) Systems Capabilities: Lead execution, support testing and drive implementation of risk capabilities required to make Serve the leader in the space of digital payments - Background in develop risk strategies for digital payments provider - Passion and deep knowledge of the emerging space of digital commerce industry and technology - Ability to analyze, manipulate and drive insights from large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets - Hands on experience in developing insights from big data', Hadoop, Java, SAS/SQL, Unix, APIs and similar tools is a strong plus. - Strong communication skills - written and verbal. Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint is a strong-plus - Strong interpersonal skills and team-spirit - Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving and challenging environment
