Manager, Stock Plan Administration Job in Sunnyvale 94089, California US
This position is primarily responsible for transactional administration, communication and reporting of equity compensation plans (Equity Grants, Stock Purchase) in compliance with plan documents, legal and financial regulations, process controls, customer service standards, internal efficiency and quality.
- Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual administration and reporting of stock plan transactions globally.
- Assist with equity grants (options RSUs), RSU releases, ESPP enrollment and purchases.
- Maintain in Equity Edge current equity plan demographic data (for example, new hires, tax rates, address changes, termination of employment).
- Reconcile transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting, cash receipts, share count and other items as required.
- Work with E-Trade and UBS for outsourced administration and transactions, focusing on controls, accuracy, timeliness and customer service.
- File Form 4's
- Provide accurate and timely information to internal customers (for example, employees, managers, Finance, Legal and HR departments). Assist in the coordination of external audits and outsourced preparation of tax filings.
- Communicate plan provisions to employees. Resolve any employee issues, problems or concerns as appropriate. Respond to questions within 24 hours.
- Conduct new employee equity benefits orientation as required.
- Other duties, such as administration of leaves of absence, expats, and transfers as required.
- Calculate monthly FAS123R expense for Options, equity awards, ESPP Plan, and option amendments.
- Monthly reconciliation of shares outstanding, shares available for grant, and reconciliation of shares issued in Equity Edge to to outside transfer agaent reports.
- Calculate weighted average shares outstanding for the period used in EPS calculations as wel as diluted shares calculation.
- BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Finance or Human Resources
- Certified Equity Professional designation
- A minimum of 7-10 years of related experince, 3-5 years+ experience in multinational stock administration
- Proficiency Equity Edge software for equity plan administration and calculation of FAS 123R expense
- Ability to calculate expense for any Equity Plan modifications
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong written and oral communication
- Customer service skills; ability to work well with employees at all levels in the company
