Title: Manager, Strategy and Business Development

Location: IMS Corporate Headquarters in Danbury, CT with ability to work remotely

Start date: November 1-15, 2011

Role: Provide analytical and financial modeling support for MA transactions across 10+ healthcare data and analytics industry verticals, ranging from small buyouts to larger acquisitions that may exceed $1B in enterprise value

Primary Responsibilities:

•       Build and refine complex financial models for company valuation purposes

•       Perform ad-hoc financial analyses for a range of strategic and MA initiatives

•       Analyze and interpret financial statements and clearly convey conclusions and insights

•       Perform market research, develop strategic initiatives and build business plans

•       Work with IMS executives and TPG investment team, IMS deal team and business unit colleagues, target company management teams and external advisors on a regular basis

•       Oversee and maintain deal pipeline, track market MA activity, put together internal updates, and create deal review presentations for CFO, CEO and BOD

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree and a strong GPA

Experience Required: We are looking for someone with 18-36 months of relevant work experience, preferably from an investment banking analyst program or a comparable business development role involving detailed knowledge of financial modeling and valuation. Prior experience and understanding relating to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and information industries is a plus (though not necessary).
