Reporting to the General Manager Actuarial, Strategy Risk, you will be the "architect" who will assist in defining AFS NZ’s strategic future, oversee the design and operation of the business and to find the optimal blend of service and sales solutions for customers and advisers. You will also contribute to the achievement of identified cultural ambitions for our newly combined business. The role will also hold responsibility for competitor and market research services to aid strategic discussions and provide insights to the NZ business.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in managing complex projects / planning cycles
- Direct experience of managing strategic planning and market research, preferably in the financial services industry
- A proven record in personally driving change to effect substantial business improvement
- Strong report writing, presentation and verbal communications skills
- Strong background in market insights, customer segmentation and customer analytics design and development
- Experience in converting research, and other information sources, into business information used to facilitate strategy development, business planning and decision making
