Manager – Strategy & Planning recruitment
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mapping of short term goals and long term goals for the business and functional areas.
- New business initiatives business analysis, strategy design, and implementation .
- Balanced scorecard at FGB and business / functional level - monitoring and guidance.
- To assist in business performance reviews and analysis on achieving overall goals.
- Deep involvement in annual business planning process to aid cross organisational alignment and strategic coherence.
- Conduct Strategic Business analysis to monitor achievement of long term goals.
- Identify key strategic gaps and drive business lines to develop strategies to fill gaps identified.
- To embed strategic monitoring and control processes into the organisation .
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Identify the key enablers for the achievement of the FGB 2014 Vision.
- Enhance corporate strategic tracking mechanisms (e.g. balanced scorecard and dashboard processes).
- Identify methods to increase process improvement - specific shot-term strategic goals.
- Specifically align efforts across the organisation to make FGB "Customer Driven".
- Monitoring of 2012 balanced scorecards for the business and functional areas.
- Create the 2013 Scorecard for each business and support unit.
- Identify and implement processes to ensure strategic coherence of activity across the organisation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in finance / management or MBA with a comparable role in another financial organisationor consultancy experience in strategy or large scale programme and project management.
