- Consulting with area management on system related operation, application, data and reporting requirements by demonstrating the ability to baseline, benchmark and improve operating efficiencies through the effective use of technology.
- Assessing and analyzing business process/system needs while documenting requirements, reviews, specifications, business process and recommendations related to proposed solutions
- Successfully leading small system projects while serving as a resource or project team member for larger scope projects. As a project leader, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring project milestones are met and resources are effectively and efficiently utilized.
- Assisting management with implementations of major system projects including Company acquisition system integration efforts as well as implementing new business unit systems.
- Investigating and troubleshooting problems supporting system operations while ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Acting as a liaison with Operations, management and vendors in communicating issues and in working on system implementations and upgrades.
- Managing the hiring, training and development of Supply Chain Systems Staff.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 - 7 years experience in Supply Chain project management and operations, or related experience.
- Proven reporting and analytical skill
- Ability to successfully interact and build collaborative business relationships while quickly adjusting to changing demands.
- Solid analytic, strategic and project management skills; as well as proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Track record of success meeting deadlines while simultaneously balancing multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a member within a larger team environment.
- Excellent written, verbal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with diplomacy and tact.
