Manager, Talent Acquisition - Central Region
THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL REGION - ARDEN HILLS OR MAPLE GROVE, MN Summary: Implements talent acquisition strategies to delivery on business need (time to fill, quality of hire, and diversity of slate metrics) to support the various functions across multiple Boston Scientific divisions. Understands current workforce profile for region and leads recruiters to develop robust, proactive strategies for the development of candidate pipelines. Develops and implements action plans to develop overall brand awareness among key talent pools. Responsibilities: Provides strategic recruiting expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal developments, benchmark comparisons; functions as subject matter expert on all business unit recruitment activities. Partners with HR business partners and department heads in response to staffing requirements; responsible for developing and managing highly effective processes to attract and acquire high quality and best fit talent Lead internal placement efforts and develop proactive strategies to recruit for upcoming key vacancies and future needs. Analyzes recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement and to ensure the achievement of desired goals. Uses Employment Brand and Employee Value Proposition with prospects to enhance rapport for long-term. Maximizes relationships with contingent search firms to drive the return on investment. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, and further augment the organization's strategic diversity initiatives and affirmative action programs; lead on affirmative action plan for sites within region. Ensures recruiting teams are following standard recruiting processes that will contribute to a diverse pool of quality candidates. Directs the development of the internship/coop program for region Conducts training workshops with new managers to teach best recruiting practices and processes for highest quality selection decisions. Coach Recruiters on excellence in hiring manager communication, candidate relationship development, and the proper execution of recruitment practices. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. Performs related duties as assigned.
