· Working job title is US Land Region Applications Engineering Manager. · Education/experience ?" Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science/Technology,10+ years oilfield experience in drilling operations; some knowledge of completions and production is beneficial; team management experience required. · Skills/knowledge - Extensive technical background and focus on drilling operations; knowledgeable with BHI DE products and services and how they are applied. Specifically directional drilling, performance drilling, drilling optimization, wellbore positioning, drill bits and drilling fluids. Field experience beneficial; strong communication, management, customer and interpersonal skills. Familiar with the overall drilling and completion process and the relevant BHI product lines. · Responsible for ensuring technical training and transfer of applications and technical knowledge/expertise to Geomarket Sales and Operations. Provides support for new product testing, launches and new service introductions and analyzing and resolving issues related to design. Collaborates closely with Geomarket Sales and Operations, Region Marketing/BD to develop and champion product design improvements. Ensures proper planning and application of all DE technology including administering and auditing all relevant key technical processes. May assist Geomarket Sales in the preparation of bids and in engaging customers for input in the design of products and services. Trains Geomarket Sales and Operations and customers on new products and services. Collaborates with Geomarket Operations and Sales to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction and meet growth targets in Geomarket. Manages a region team of applications engineering staff supporting DE products and services in US Land. Key focus areas are assisting local US Land locations with applications engineering projects; client drilling optimization projects (OASIS); wellbore positioning support and standards; applications engineering staff competency standards and career planning. Ability to effectively interface with a wide range of customers both internal and external to manage and prioritize multiple requests is critical. . Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 15%
