Our Consulting Business helps businesses to work smarter and grow faster. We work with clients to help them innovate and grow, reduce costs and leverage talent. Our consultants have a global outlook and deep functional skills. Our Technology Projects team work with organisations to design IT strategies, develop technology architecture and design, and help with enterprise applications, sourcing, project management and operational management.
Organisations are rightly expecting a measurable return on their change projects, yet many of these fail and of the ones that succeed, few meet the expectations of Senior Management. Against this background, businesses need the capability to deliver the right projects at the right time and close down those that no longer add value. As a trusted independent adviser, clients rely on our expertise to help them organise, deliver and assess projects to achieve those objectives.
We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to join our team, specialising in Portfolio and Benefits Management.
You will be an integral part of a consulting team ensuring that:
- the strategies and performance requirements of our clients are realised via projects, programmes and operational business-as-usual
- a joined up set of outcomes and benefits is measured, managed, monitored and refined to ensure that optimal investment and strategic goals are achieved.
The successful candidate will possess:
- At least 5years of managing an organisations portfolio and benefits management function, in the capacity as a line manager or management consultant. At least 10 years of experience in the management of projects or programmes.
- An ability to apply the portfolio and benefits management skills and knowledge in multiple industries, ideally with exposure to capital intensive organisations.
- Behaviours that enable an effective engagement with senior client executives / stakeholders.
- Ability to effect change in an organisation, enabled by a good understanding of business structures and governance.
- Experience in the application of industry recognised / best practice portfolio and benefits management methods and tools.
- Proven ability to develop new client opportunities to grow PwC's market share and brand in the Australian market.
- Strong communication, facilitation and creative problem solving skills.
