Manager – Technology & Projects – Infrastructure

The Technology Projects team helps our clients leverage and build on their current technology to enhance capability and ensure they are aligned and equipped to meet the needs of the business.

As an integral service offering of Technology Projects, the Infrastructure practice focuses on effectively transforming existing technology, people, processes and information system investments into new and improved business capabilities. There are three core service offerings – Data Centre Solutions, IT Service Management and Networking, Convergence, Connectivity Collaboration.

The Networking, Convergence, Connectivity and Collaboration service assists clients in optimising service availability, security, unified solutions, sufficient capacity/performance and forward thinking strategies to meet growing internal and customer facing business needs. We currently require a Manager to join our team.

You will be required to provide deep technical infrastructure consulting across the following areas:

You will manage all aspects of client economics and proactively collaborate and execute the consulting practice strategy. You will build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and act as a mentor and coach to junior team members. Your success will be cemented through developing industry though leadership as well as assisting in bid proposals and assisting Senior Managers and Directors to target and drive potential opportunities.

The ideal candidate will require qualifications in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or related disciplines and have had proven exposure to working with large corporate clients, ideally within the Banking, Energy, Government and Telco industries. You will have had experience in VDI, Application Delivery, Migrations, Collaboration (Example Sharepoint), Voice and Video (Lync), Messaging and calendar and have proven experience with project management practices. A strong understanding of frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and technologies such as SOA, Agile and Cloud would be highly regarded. Excellent communication and presentation skills will ensure your success within this position.
