Manager Trade and Structured Finance recruitment

This Australian corporate provides services and trades with domestic and international commodity markets. This newly created opportunity is based in the head office in the treasury function, to support the development of existing and new growth opportunities with customers, help facilitate trade and reduce the risk for the organisation. 
 
This position would report to the Treasurer and interact with the international marketing teams and divisional finance internally and banks externally. The position is responsible for proving advice on the trade/structured finance strategy and implementation across the group. 
 
You would arrange and negotiate trade and structured finance facilities for the group, including trade finance facilities and structured working capital facilities. These facilities include the financing of self liquidaties trade transactions, used of letters of credit, use of documents against payment, export receivables purchase facilities, and other working capital facilities as part of risk mitigating and financing arrangements. Key is development of excellent relationships with the marketing divisions to provide facility advice, while maintaining and developing the relationships with the trade and structured divisions in the banks. 
 
You will have tertiary qualification in accounting/finance and experience of working in a treasury function in a large corporate or bank. You will have a developed understanding of trade finance and structured working capital products for the financing of working capital needs. A knowledge of the commodity markets would be beneficial but not essential. Your negotiation and ability to influence your stakeholders will be second to none.
