We are seeking a Manager, Trade Fund Management for the Sales Communication department.

The Manager, Trade Fund Management will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

 

·         Review Field Sales promotional plans for list of accounts for potential issues including potential overlapping or conflicting promotions. Monitor dates, titles and program requirements.

·         Create Account Specific promotions in Presidium based on sales plans. Enter revenue and spend plan by SKU within specified timeline. Communicate with Field Sales team regarding the status of all plans and related promotions. Ensure promotions are in appropriate status within established timeline.

·         Manage account specific processes related to trade spend execution for Canadian customer base.

·         Oversee the timely processing of all Trade Spend credits: Review and approve POS Rebate calculation and sales spend claims submitted. Work with customers and Field Sales to ensure the receipt of documentation. Manage submission of claim documentation to third party auditing bureau as appropriate. Oversee monthly/quarterly reconciliation of all trade spend categories in Presidium. Oversee the communication of credit information to CCO account teams.

·         Review trade spend monthly as compared to WHV trade program: Validate spend rate. Ensure trade spend is planned appropriately in Presidium timely and complete in conjunction with WHV financial reporting dates to ensure accurate accrual reporting. Review performance to ensure accuracy of open promotions.

·         Review customer deduction detail regularly. Analyze disputes, recommend disposition and/or resolution. Attend regular reconciliation meetings with internal Customer Credit Operations (CCO) Account Teams. Monitor deduction balances for list of accounts as compared to accruals. Prepare monthly analysis.

·         Attend cross functional meetings with Account Planners to ensure alignment between revenue and spend plans.

Desirable candidates will have the following qualifications:

 

·         BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience required.

·         3-5 Years experience in similar capacity is required.

·         3-5 Years experience in financial analysis and reporting is required.

·         Experience in the CPG industry is preferred.

·         Trade spend/fund management experience is preferred.

·         2+ years experience managing personnel is preferred.

·         Experience working with retail customers, particularly those based in Canada is desirable.

·         Entertainment industry experience is desirable.

·         Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel including senior management, as well as other departments including Accounting, Finance and Customer Credit.

·         Must have strong analytical skills.

·         Must have the ability to lead and effectively motivate internal team members and external parties.

·         Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.

·         Must be able to proactively identify issues and develop solutions to address.

·         Project Management skills.

·         Computer skills: MS Word and Excel required. Knowledge of Siebel (or similar CRM system). Business Objects and SAP is preferred.
