Manager — Transactions — Private Client Services, Tax

We are looking for a personal and employment tax specialist at experienced manager level who has experience of, and would like to focus on, advising on transactions and funds and who would enjoy working on projects such as management buyouts, tertiary and secondary buyouts, refinancing/ restructuring, private equity fund structuring, management incentivisation and advising executives investing in funds. As well as having impressive technical skills, we are looking for individuals with very strong interpersonal skills who enjoy the challenge of working on fast paced transactions and thrive on working as part of a team.
We take your development very seriously and make considerable investment in both formal and on-the-job training.
The role involves
·Providing tax technical advice in relation to transactions for individual shareholders including management buy-outs ("MBOs"), refinancing, second and tertiary buy-outs, trade sales, start-ups and qualifying EIS investments.
·Advising management teams and corporations on the use of equity to reward and incentivise employees.
·Advising on the structuring of funds from a personal tax perspective including advice on the acquisition of carry and appropriate reporting on the realisation of funds.
·The opportunity to think creatively around individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies whilst working in a strongly commercial environment.
·Development of client relationships and new client opportunities.
·Working with a team of specialists and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of other Deloitte tax and corporate finance groups.
