Summary: Responsible for the managing the company?s multiple site distribution centers. At each location, individual will have responsibility for re-organizing and improving warehouse management system, physical layout of facility, and professional development of distribution center personnel. Will work daily with cross-functionl teams for continous operations improvement. Will directly manage various analysts Functions: Manage all aspects of distribution operations, from receiving dock to shipping door Coordinate with Logistics Planning and Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Must have ability to identify opportunities for strategic change and implement appropriate solutions in a rapidly changing environment. Track costs across entire distribution network and offer evaluation, assessments and opportunities for improvement. Cultivate and maintain partnership with other functional areas to enhance customer service levels. Develop and implement plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design Consistently look for opportunities to aid in the growth and development of future logistics leaders. Demonstrated ability in measuring both individual and group results Demonstrated negotiation and mediation skills Demonstrated ability of effective problem solving skills Demonstrated professional business communication skills.
