Manager – Treasury Sales/Dealing
Job Purpose
As the Senior Treasury Manager you would be required to:-
• Identify target market as per Bank’s strategy and achieve revenue targets by offering suitable treasury products to identified client base
• Monitor control activities of dealers on desk, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulatory guidelines
Area of Responsibility
Sales Business Development / Dealing:-
• To develop business strategy, in line with strategy for the Bank and based on guidance provided by senior management
• Offer treasury products to clients as per approved strategy, with primary responsibility for achieving desk’s revenue target.
• Monitor client deals and positions and ensure timely reporting of the same to clients and internal control departments
• To ensure that dealers adhere to internal and external regulatory guidelines in day to day activities
• To take charge of special projects that may arise from time to time, to improve the productivity.
• Provide prices to clients, with a view to deals. Close out the deals in interbank market, ensuring no residual open position remains
Experience
• University Degree
• Treasury sales and team management experience
• Understanding and experience of foreign currency markets (Indian Rupee experience is desirable)
• Ability to trade in foreign exchange markets, take views if required to ensure effective pricing for sales team
• An deep understanding of forex interest rate derivatives, to understand basic product structures and effectively communicate
