Manager – UK Media Relations recruitment
This temporary role will report to the Head of UK Media Relations and will be responsible for implementing media relations activity for the UK Defined Contribution and Workplace Savings Business and for the UK Defined Benefit Business. The position is based in the London office in Cannon Street .
Vacancy Requirements : Creating and implementing media relations activity for the UK Defined Contribution and Workplace Savings Business and for the UK Defined Benefit Business. Support for other distribution channels, investment franchises and wider parts of FIL on an ad hoc basis:
Work with business heads, product management and marketing teams to generate ideas for positive press coverage for the UK Defined Contribution and Workplace Savings Business and for the UK Defined Benefit Business. Support the marketing teams and product management teams where appropriate to generate press coverage on any marketing campaigns or proposition development.
Support the Head of Media Relations in managing any defensive issues which arise for the UK Defined Contribution and UK Defined Benefit Businesses.
Establish trust and good working relationships with senior executives.
Provide support to other members of the UK Media Relations Team.
Establish and maintain good relationships with the relevant media.
