Manager – UK Transfer Agency recruitment
Reporting directly to the UKTA Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the effective running and management on a day-to-day basis of a 10-strong team, which is likely to grow significantly. The team provides shareholder servicing to a number of key TA clients, including handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence with shareholders and the good order review of all shareholder instructions - trades, account opening, account maintenance and transfers. It also acts as the primary point of contact for TA clients for queries and initiatives and is responsible for all agent set-up, commissions, retrocession and distribution management. The team manager's remit further encompasses the management of client relationships and people management.
Key requirements:
- a minimum of 7 years' experience in a customer-facing role in TA or a similar environment
- direct experience of TA, with clear understanding of UK TA processes and systems - ideally, familiar with UK/Offshore European/US trading and clearing platforms e.g. Fundsettle, Euroclear, Vestima, EMX, Calastone and the NSCC
- a 5-year fract record of successful team management.
The appointment will be made at AVP/VP-level according to experience.
