Manager/Senior Manager, FSO – IT Advisory
As part of our IT advisory team, you'll help your clients to improve a broad range of business processes. Drawing on our local and global networks, you'll learn to adapt proven IT methods and practices to fit different operational and cultural needs, in different industries. Your knowledge, experience and skills will help to shape our services. With access to talented leaders, formal learning and a wide variety of practical experience, you'll receive all the support you need to succeed.
You will work with our clients to assess and transform their enterprise technology architecture; and to work as the architecture lead on large scale/complex IT transformation programmes. The enterprise technology architecture could include some or all of the following architectural views: applications, integration, data, security, operations and development.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assess and develop technology architecture (application, integration and data) at a conceptual and logical level.
- Assess and develop technology architecture (security, operation, development) at a conceptual level.
- Coordinate and manage architecture, design and development teams. You will be expected to be able to manage the architecture development process, lead by example and with their subject matter expertise and manage the design and development teams.
- Consult to clients, understanding their challenges and goals, and translate this into a target state technical architecture, roadmap and business case.
We're looking for people with the following experience:
- Demonstrated the ability to translate complex client requirements and goals, and to reflect this in a solution architecture, that is understandable by clients irrespective of their level of seniority.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, in addition to their technical skills, to ensure credibility and relevance.
- Have a detailed understanding of the application and integration architectures (at a minimum) with a breadth of understanding across the remaining views.
- Ideally you will have a functional domain expertise, whilst being able to operate across domains and industries.
- It would be beneficial to have an understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, for example TOGAF.
