Manager/Senior Manager – Valuation Modeling & Investment Due Diligence recruitment
Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in supporting buy-side MA transactions including the following:
- Review and assess financial models used for company valuations through the use of sophisticated simulation tools
- Understand and validate key value drivers of companies
- Provide advice on risk mitigation techniques
In addition, he/she will need to closely direct guide more junior professional staff on how best to review and use simulations on financial models.
The successful candidate must be able to engage multiple stakeholders with his/her good communication skills. The daily work will require discussions with other internal departments, and possibly negotiations with external advisors and investee companies. He/she must have a pleasant character, good working attitude, high drive and enthusiasm, as well as being a team player. This position is based in Singapore.
To succeed in this role you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:
- Must be familiar with valuation techniques, especially DCF modeling
- Able to build large, complex DCF models for MA investments, preferably on the buy-side
- Lead project teams and participate in Financial Due Diligences
- Able to articulate complex issues in simple terms
- Proficiency in MS Powerpoint Excel
- Able to grasp understand the business dynamics and value drivers of large and complex organizations
- Understanding of Monte Carlo simulation techniques and statistical probabilities will be an advantage
- Ability to cope with pressure tight deadlines
- Singapore-based candidates are highly preferred
