ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Works independently, maintains and enhances relationships with existing institutional clients.

• Promotes investment product sales through frequent client meetings and discussion covering investment strategy, account performance, new products, and market developments.

• Works closely with sales, PMs, Client PMs and client service staff to coordinate all sales and support activities for assigned accounts.

• Experience managing large and/or complex account relationships

• Ability to develop strong relationships with key plan sponsor decision makers and their investment consultants

• Proven ability to develop and deliver product/client specific messaging.

• Skilled at understanding all aspects of the client relationship including business segment, investment objectives, guidelines and plan structure.

• Proven skills as a team player working closely with others in all areas of the firm to provide excellence in client outcomes.

• Participate in business projects within the team to ensure alignment with business plans and strategy.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: Assumes additional responsibilities as requested or assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May directly manage exempt and/or non-exempt staff. Plans, allocates, monitors work and makes decisions regarding employment, performance appraisal, training, salary adjustments and related personnel actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES:

• Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Advanced knowledge of mutual fund/financial services industry and company products

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent presentation skills

• Ability to work and make decisions independently

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Excellent problem solving skills

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Five or more years of portfolio management, sales, marketing or relationship management experience.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/related field or equivalent required

• Series 7, 3 and 63 licenses required and CFA or equivalent strongly preferred.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

• Overtime may be required on short notice and may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours

• Typical office environment with PC, telephone, copier, fax machine, etc.
