Managing Director – Investment Banking recruitment
Based in Doha and reporting into the CEO, the successful incumbant will be responsible for supporting the CEO in managing the Investment Bank and achieving budget targets in compliance with established policies, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements. Keys responsibilities include:
- preparing the strategic and business development plans for the Investment Bank
- approve and issue mandate letters and proposals.
- lead the origination of new transactions including identifying opportunitiesand the preparation and delivery of pitches.
- provide technical expertise and guidance to the existing team of 11.
- assist the CEO in managing and monitoring the banks risk profile.
- manage and motivate the exisitng team
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelors degree or an MBA is preferable
- 15 years experience at a senior level within at Investment Bank / preofessional services team
- regional experience is advantageous as is Arabic as a secondary language
- strong management and leaadership experience
- transaction experience cross industry, with a mix of orignation and execution.
