The Opportunity
Our client is a well established financial services firm with operations worldwide. The firm has grown through acquisitions over the years to become a global leader in their field. The firm offers a range of services based around their structured finance advisory services. Due to further growth, the firm has a rare vacancy for a Managing Director to lead and develop their UK operation, consisting of three offices (the role being based at their London office), ensuring the provision of excellent service to clients and business partners. In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing in excess of 150 staff, ensuring consistent delivery of targeted business results and to ensure that operational performance is monitored effectively. Most importantly, you would ensure that the three offices operate efficiently and maintain good overall relationships with clients, with other offices in the group and with business partners.
Your Profile
The client is looking to meet with candidates who are ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with significant post qualification experience, perhaps having started out in audit, moving into structured finance later in their careers. The client will expect you to have an in-depth knowledge and experience of securitization, leasing and structured finance as well as a solid understanding of company law and corporate governance in the UK. Ideally, you will have 12 years+ of management experience in an international business environment, with expertise in change management. As you will be leading three separate offices in the UK, significant regional management experience will stand you in good stead.
