MANAGING DIRECTOR PRIVATE EQUITY

Principal Accountabilities

Act as the “face” of company in London, to enhance and secure its profile and reputation by representing the business to the clients, potential clients, employees, intermediaries, regulators and other bodies as necessary, to create capacity for future business development in support of its growth strategies.

Maintain and update the business plan for London in accordance with the Company’s strategic goals, execute and deliver the plan, and take full P L responsibility for UK performance.

Attend and contribute to new client pitches in the London market, as needed to underpin the business plan, by winning new clients and associated work.

Guide the management of all London client relationships to foster their healthy development; achieve a level of advocacy with clients that supports the goal of maintaining each client at ‘reference status’.

Oversee service excellence across the client delivery process for the Company’s UK clients, through implementation of service level agreements consistent with best in field delivery expected by PE fund principals, and by leading and collaborating with company client delivery management teams.

Lead the London staff and management team, setting performance measures at Operations Director and Client Director level with appropriate review, appraisal and reward processes, and provide support for personal development plans across the business that underpin both the technical and interpersonal content of service delivery. Foster high levels of staff satisfaction as an employer

Deliver any aspect of performance reporting as required from time to time by the Chief Executive, Commercial Director or Finance Director to support Group level reporting.

Carry out all duties in a careful and professional manner, achieving a fully regulatory compliant UK operation; personally accept appointment as an ‘A’ signatory of the Company.

Act as a controlling function and FCA registered person with oversight of the UK business.

Develop co-operative relationships with, motivate and provide leadership to colleagues at all levels to promote an open and supportive environment.

Chair the UK board and lead the Board through collective decision-making, and develop Board members into future leaders of the business and oversee cross-functional contribution at Board level.

Achieve all objectives and initiatives set by and agreed with the CEO from time to time.
