Experience Required:

10+ years experience as Senior Banker with proven ability to operate within a matrix environment and to effectively lead a team.

Strong Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and transactional experience contacts.

Broad Technology industry knowledge and client contacts, with recent experience and focus on investment grade names.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Formulate and propose plans for business development as part of the planning process in order to deliver annual income, balance and volume targets in line with agreed business objectives.

• Develop relationships to establish business leads, build and maintain profile and share best practice as appropriate, in order to identify opportunities to generate business and income growth for the business.

• Develop and maintain a range of key relationships with customers and suppliers in order to exchange / obtain information, ascertain future requirements and, when appropriate identify / implement best practices.

• Develop, manage and maintain relationships with colleagues to maximize business opportunities and obtain/exchange information and where necessary establish and implement best practices and liaise with the business units to ensure resolution of any operational or service level issues.

• Monitor industry, market, customer and regulatory trends to ensure that business opportunities are defined and developed in order to deliver an appropriate response that protects and develops business benefit for the Group.

• Drive and monitor the business performance against the agreed business objectives and define, develop and implement activities to ensure business objectives are met including the analysis of complex information from various sources. 

Manage, motivate, develop and appraise team members as required, so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business undertaking the recruitment process when required.
